We leverage global art history, art market knowledge, creativity, marketing, design, and keen multi-cultural awareness, to expand our clients’ vision and contribute to audience engagement.
ARTVERBIUM thinks and acts globally from headquarters in Porto, with team members located in New York, Brazil, Colombia, and London. We serve cultural institutions, private collectors, art fairs, auction houses, galleries, corporate collections, fashion brands, hospitality, and the larger ecosystem influenced by the art, culture, and luxury industries.
Lorena brings to ARTVERBIUM a deep and diverse professional experience of over 18 years within the art, culture, and luxury sectors. Throughout her career she has set the creative vision and lead the development of multi-faceted art, culture, and luxury projects implemented in Europe, Asia, South and North America.
Lorena’s practice has been shaped while working as creative consultant, strategy director, design faculty, and as the International Creative Director at Christie’s in New York and London. She is currently the executive artistic director of Emerge | Converge, an international immersive exhibition cycle created by Artverbium, which brings together art collectors and influential international artists.
A curator, artist, and designer, José Dario holds PhD and Master in Visual Arts from the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo (ECA-USP), and a BA in Graphic Design from the National University of Colombia, a country where he also held various adjunct professor positions in the fields of fine arts, photography and film.
His curatorial and research work focuses on technology, geography, and their cultural interdependencies, often organizing cultural events related to digital arts, along with various research groups mainly based in Brazil. Departing from his own experience as an artist and designer who emigrated and established himself in a country different to his origin, Jose Darío contributes his prime and current knowledge of the artists, artistic, and cultural currents emerging in South America, which comes to round up the keen multi-cultural vision of the projects undertaken by Artverbium.
